Huge garden border painting showing how it was created.

I started to paint part of the garden border using Indian Ink and a long handled brush. It was very liberating using the brush rather like a pencil sketching out the outlines of the leaves and the branches and the flowers.
Then I added an acrylic ground over the whole canvas, this caused me to pause as I realised the Indian ink wasn’t waterproof. It bled. So consequently I used diluted black acrylic. After completing one canvas I thought it would be fun to use more canvases and paint either side of the original painting. So in the end I used four canvases each canvas being 1.5 m wide and 1 m tall . This meant I ended up with a picture 6 m wide and 1 m tall. It’ll be interesting to know where it could be shown. I hope it will be accepted in a gallery when I get the chance to enter it, I think it would make a stunning picture to look at and also be a reminder , of the garden in early June and the garden.
