Review for the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 inch 2.5k resolution screen tablet + comparison to Wacom Cintiq 13 hd. We will look at the design, some of the specs & screen resolution, the pen, including pen pressure sensitivity, screen parallax, drivers, set up of the Huion tablet, price and much more including comparing to a Wacom product. This review is a 'first impressions' type of video, I have had it for 2 months at this stage.

I have been using a Wacom Cintiq 13 HD for a while now, I have had a lot of use out of it over the last 8 years or so, and minus some driver issues, the tablet has been incredible, so I have never felt the need to upgrade. That being said, after so long, I wanted to upgrade to a slightly larger screen, and potentially a higher resolution screen along with it. The main issue with upgrading to a larger Wacom tablet is the huge price tag that comes with it (and some smaller issues like the larger space they require). People have said over recent years that Huion tablets are now at a stage where they are equal to Wacom, at a fraction of the price. I finally took the plunge and recorded my thoughts in hopes that it can help others out too.

A few notes for those that don't want to watch the video:
Everything you need is included in the box when you order a Huion tablet, but the wires are quite short. The stylus, whilst very good, does have difficulty with super light touches when compared to something like a Wacom stylus, it's subtle and heavy handed users would never notice, but personally I work very light.
The screen, whilst being 2.5k resolution, is a bit grainy when compared to a Wacom or other monitors. I think you would be fine with a 1080 resolution screen if you are on a budget, I also think 4k on a 16 inch is not worth while in any way.
The drivers have been great so far, much better than Wacom. See video for more in depth details.

Despite some flaws, for the price you can get these tablets, I think they are incredible value. You eventually adjust to using the tablet and forget about the flaws, in the same way you do with any other tablet, you just get used to them!
