Liz and I had a blast hunting the rare Wisconsin moonstone, which is an anorthoclase feldspar crystal in pegmatite which can only be found in a roughly 4 mile circle within Marathon County. Until recently it was completely closed of to the Public but Wisconsin Moonstone has opened up a pay to dig site so now you can experience the privilege of hunting this amazing gem!
