In this video we take a trip to eastern Washington to search last years forest fire burn to find beautiful Morel mushrooms.
The fire kills the trees and creates destruction, and the morels seem to thrive in these conditions. So a lucky number of ultramotivated mushroom lovers take to the hills in search of black gold!(again, I'm talking about morels)
These mushrooms are a delicacy and can fetch over $80 lb in markets. In this video my wife, my dog and I find over 100 burn morels and talk all about the habitat and experience throughout the video.
