Hyundai i30 Wagon and Peugeot 308 SW are two compact station wagons or estate cars for the average buyer.

Hyundai i30 Wagon is in its third generation, and this is a facelifted NLine model. NLine is what the MPack is for BMW some sporty bits of trim, and slight steering and suspension tuning, but without touching the engine. This test i30 is powered by a 1.5liter 160 hp petrol engine with a mild hybrid, and a 7DCT (dualclutch transmission).

The Peugeot 308 SW is in its second generation, and this is a second facelift. This test car is in Allure Pack trim with a 1.5liter 130 hp diesel engine, and an 8speed automatic gearbox.
