What a journey it has been, filled with life, love, challenges and laughter and a story I cannot wait to tell everyone. I have now reached another very important milestone in my life and that is today as I BECAME A BRITISH citizen of United Kingdom.

June 28, 2021 will be a date to remember paying tribute to a lot of people who have been a part of my life in the last six years when I stepped in UK soil. And most especially to my late Papa, Jose and Mama, Asis and sister, Michelle and my better half, Elle who are my ultimate inspiration in everything I do.

This British citizenship is not just a pledge of allegiance to the Queen, a paper confirming my naturalisation in the UK but it is a TESTIMONY of hardwork, perseverance, resilience, strength and test of faith and character. It is not just my journey but every dreamer’s journey who wants to change their life forever.

I am Kenneth Joe Uy, a British citizen with the heart, character and strength of a Filipino.
