The Tshirt is a great item for various alterations. It will sparkle with bright colors if you decorate it with fashionable decor. For example, sew on an applique, lace, or do embroidery.
To create a new model, don’t be afraid to use only scissors, you can cut the bottom of the Tshirt into strips and then tie them together. The result is a spectacular weave; it can be done on the back, sleeves and other parts.
But that's not all, if you have an oversized Tshirt, then this is a reason to turn this thing into a summer blouse. Cheap stores sell Tshirts of different colors for 200–250 rubles a great option for experimenting. You need to take a couple sizes larger, it’s good that there is a large selection of “Super” sizes in amazing colors.
Today I will radically remake a blue Tshirt, size 52, without any investment.
First, I cut off the sleeves and folded the Tshirt in the middle.
I made a pattern using this pattern. The length of 38 cm can be made longer, and the measurement of 25 cm is the width of the Tshirt, it may vary.
On the front part, I made a 10 cm long cut at the top in the middle. I turned the edges under and stitched.
I swept the top of the shelf and back. Then I retreated 2 cm, wrapped the fabric and stitched it to create drawstrings.
From the remaining fabric I cut out 2 strips for ties. I inserted them on both sides from the front. I made tacks along the edges.
For the back I cut an elastic band 25 cm long.
The sleeve armholes were rounded in this way. I sewed a thin elastic band along the edge to create soft gathers.
I stitched the sleeves to the main part, starting from the bottom of the armhole. I swept the seam.
I turned the edge of the sleeve 7 mm and stitched it, inserted an elastic band inside, measure the length according to myself so that the sleeve rests on the shoulder.
We tie the ties at the front to the desired width.
With a few simple steps, you can easily transform your Tshirt into a stylish blouse.
