According to the people of Choluteca, the "most feared" neighborhood in southern Honduras is the Ciudad Nueva neighborhood. It's located 10 minutes outside of Choluteca and the residents invited me to get to know their streets, businesses, street foods, schools and most of all, their people. Could it be that what is seen in the news and social media about the neighborhood is true? I decide to find out with my own eyes. Everything I see in the neighborhood is surprising.
