Description: In late 2021, Gibson released a collector's edition of Korina Flying Vs and Explorers that used scans from the originals to create them like they've never been reissued before. The Murphy Labs division aged them and they used Brazilian Rosewood fretboards. Set to be collector's items from day one the Flying Vs retailed at $20,000 with only 81 made which only lasted in stores for one week. The Explorers were limited to only 19 in production and had a suggested price of $30,000. None of them were ever listed for public sale though. You would have to be one of the lucky few who called the Gibson Garage to secure one or have an "in" with a dealer that decided not to keep theirs or be a Gibson endorsed Artist. I was lucky to get one of these for review and demo!
