It's 8 years since I started at Cambridge as a sheltered 18yearold with no idea what leaving home would be like, worried if I'd meet people I really got on with, and terrified about the mountains of studying ahead of me (4 years of French and Spanish, I didn't have any idea the law studies I'd end up doing at that point). But, finally, in August 2022, I became a solicitor in England and Wales. I began the next leg of my lawyer journey, starting as an associate in the Clifford Chance corporate team

In this video, I celebrate the fact I am now OFFICIALLY a proper lawyer. And then I reflect on what it took to get here, where I see my career going and what life as an associate is likely to be like.
