Panama has some of the best restaurants, but its the small local restaurants they have soe of the best traditional food. In this video I went to Rio Bajo to buy some of the best patties in Panama. Patty is a pastry that contains various fillings and spices baked inside a flaky shell, often tinted golden yellow with an egg yolk mixture or turmeric. It is made like a turnover, but is more savoury and filled with meat.
