Who knew that IndyCar and former F1 driver, Pietro Fittipaldi raced #NASCAR champ, Kyle Larson, when they were kids?
Fittipaldi's parents moved to North Carolina when he was young soon after a go kart track opened up in Mooresville, N.C.
Of course anyone, who's anyone, in that part of the state gravitates to race at that track.
So the grandson of Formula One World Champion and Indy 500 winner, Emerson Fittipald,i earned his stripes at the same track as the NASCAR Cup Champion of 2021, Kyle Larson.
Larson will attempt to be the first driver to attempt "The Double" running both the Indy 500 and Coca Cola 600 NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway since 2014.
