Cynthia Wambui Otieno knows what it means to sacrifice everything for the man you love.

When her husband Donald was detained in America and later deported, she stuck with him though their love was barely new.
In detention, she wrote him encouragement letters everyday and upon deportation, it took her only six months to come home to the love of her life.

Together, they have been married for 12 years.
