I lost something in JAPAN and this is what happened

I lost my wallet in Japan, can you guess what happened next? On our journey from Kyoto to Hiroshima, I experienced the Japanese Lost and found System (and the honesty of others). This also meant taking a trip to Fukuoka.

As suggested by the BBC (and countless social experiment videos), it is impossible to lose something in Japan. Japan has one of the most effective Lost and Found systems in the world and a cultural emphasis on honesty and public awareness helps people reunite with their lost property.

In all my time living in Japan, I have never lost anything. I felt a bit like Yukko from Nichijou when she lost her wallet at the amusement park, minus the Mad World feeling as none of my money was missing. Many people ask me, is Japan safe? Everyone’s experience of Japan is different but I feel extremely lucky to be reunited with my lost item. It did make me exclaim that this is something that can happen "only in Japan".

Thank you for watching this Japan travel vlog! I post day in the life of a foreigner living in Japan vlogs. Even though I live in Tokyo, I had the opportunity to travel to both Northern and Southern Japan and I hope to give some useful tips, and recommend must see and must visit places on your next trip to Japan! There are many foreigners who are interested in living and working in Japan. I have some useful videos about living, accommodation and visas.
