First time I get surrounded by armed man at the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's my first day at the very humble Pangolin Rescue Camp. And I get to see my first pangolin a young male which has been rescued from the hands of poachers the day before. Pangolins are the world's most trafficked mammal today and the species is critically endangered. To get to know more about this precious wild animal is priceless. But the day is not over, and the worst happened...
