Max Max movies are awesome! The games... not so much.

In this video, I take a look at the history of Mad Max video game adaptations. I start by taking a look at the Mad Max 1990 NES game, which is so bad, George Miller then became incredibly wary of whoever he gave the Mad Max licence to. I then move onto Outlander for the SNES and Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis), a game which developer Mindscape lost the Mad Max rights to halfway through development. I then talk about two Mad Max games which got cancelled: Mad Max: Autorama (a game planned for a VHS console called the Controlvision) and Mad Max: Asylum (a PS2 game developed by an Australian developer who hadn't even acquired the rights to the Mad Max franchise). I then end by reviewing Avalanche Studio's Mad Max game from 2015. By FAR, the best Mad Max game, with amazing graphics and gameplay, albeit soured by its Ubisoft style open world and repetitive objectives.
