After not seeing a proper recreation of this event I just had to give it a try and here is what I was able to build during 7 months of hard work. Here is my LEGO WW2 "Pointe du Hoc" MOC.
On June 6th Allied soldiers landed in Normandy. DDay has started and was the beginning of operation Overlord . One of the places they attacked was ”Pointe du Hoc“. Because a lot of huge guns were placed their it was important that the Rangers were successful. They managed to climb the cliffs and control all German Bunkers. Let’s not forget their sacrifice.
