I wake up feeling I am already late. This need to run away from the previous me. The need to feel through effort and pain and conquest.
To not waste a minute. I wake up to prove I'm alive.
So I run.
I'm sweat. I feel my body fighting for air. I feel the road bouncing off my legs. My heartbeat rises, and I can hear it.
So I run even faster.
So tomorrow, when I wake up again, I have a reason to do it. Beat me again, and again, and again. Until no weakness and regret can keep up with in my life.

So I run.
