The Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia is known as one of the natural wonders of the world. The endless dimensions of the Salt Flat in Uyuni make is so unique and of course Uyuni was for me a mustsee while being in Bolivia.

Uyuni is located in the southwest of Bolivia and it is at an altitude of almost 3.700m. For me this was the very first time in Bolivia and also the first time at such an extreme altitude. This and a few other factors that I will explain in the video have probably caused that I suffered a lot from altitude sickened during the first day of my 2 days tour through Uyuni.

In this video I will show you Uyuni and also talk about my experience with altitude sickness, how you get through the symptoms and what you can do to avoid or lower the risk of suffering from altitude sickness.
