I tried to make a Grand strategy game set in a modern day setting. I'm a huge fan of Paradox games, but aside from the Millennium Dawn mod for hearts of iron 4, no game scratches the itch for a modern day grand strategy experience. That is what I set out to do as a solo indie game dev and this video explores why even with my best efforts, I had to abandon the project.
