Hi my name is Theresa and with my husband Wayne and our dog JD we are @Ruffinit 6x4.
join us as we explore OZ in our 6 wheel Ford Ranger .
I try my hand as a Station Cook in the Pilbara WA (Wyloo Station) We head inland to Wyloo Station a large cattle station running Droughtmaster cattle.
The station is 370kms to Exmouth and Karratha our closed towns are Para or Tom Price which are around 200kms away.
I love cooking and sharing my creations so I was excited to take up the position, the muster runs for 3 months so lets start the journey.
Preparing smoko lunch and dinner every day and the occasional early breakfast, i would bake 5 dozen biscuits about twice a week along with cakes and muffins and scones .Smoko and lunch menu very from mini pizza to pies, quiches, chilli crab, corn beef fritters ,quesadillas ,fish tacos,
Being a cattle station we have endless supply of beautiful meat so every night for dinner consisted of meat with vegetables and pasta. With the menu changing weekly the crew was always satisfied , a few things that was on the menu Roast, crumbed steak ,bangers and mash, mince ,spaghetti meat loaf, casseroles, curries, rissoles,.
The most requested food on the menu was crumbed steak and and apple crumble .
I really enjoyed my 3 months on the station .

We hope you are enjoying our adventures, please leave us some feedback or if u want us to add anything let us know and we will be happy to get back to you.
