I turned a Junk Meyer Snow Plow into a New Rebuilt!

I had a parts plow laying in the weeds, I debated on looking around for a good used plow and pump that didn't need soooo much work, or rebuild what i already had. Because this plow was pretty much junk, but i figured i would have the same amount of money in a used setup, as if i rebuild what i had. And if i rebuilt, i knew everything was gonna be good to go, it would just be a chunk of time invested, and there was a chance that a used plow could end up being junk too, so i decided to rebuild it.

Here are a list of parts i used;
angle cylinders
hoses and fittings
1/2" HD cutting edge and bolts
3 trip springs and eyebolts
lift chain
quart of rustolem saftey yellow, with a little red spray paint mixed in to closely match the meyer paint that came on the new pump
rebuilt Storks Auto E47 pump
Twin Stick switches and wiring harness (one of the new switches had a short in the switch and was automatically sticking in a ON possision, so i had to use an old Slick Stick single switch i had laying around)
Slick Stick and homemade harness adapter
Carton mount for 2004 Chevy 2500
cables and solenoid
12 ga. sheet metal skin, had bent at a local machine shop.
guide sticks
Tube Lift frame (actually bought the bull bumper and had to modify it, but it was around $300 cheaper than the one that had the tabs and gussets already on it)

Total invesment was right at $2000, and basically i have a new plow. Now lets hope it snows!
