Should you upgrade to Vantage Club at Hyatt Vivid in Cancun? What do you get with Vantage Club and, as of May 2024, are all of the perks actually available?

NOTE: My original reservation (Junior Suite Bay View King) was US $385/night and to upgrade to Vantage Club Golf/Ocean View King was only an extra $20/night to me, that is totally worth it!

At the moment, all of the Vantage Club perks are available with the exception of the hydrotherapy circuit (which won’t be available until the Spa is completed on the Dreams side, later this year or early next year) and the a la carte breakfast at the Mediterranean restaurant (which could start up at any time, once they reach appropriate occupancy numbers).

Obviously, whether or not you upgrade will largely depend on the price difference, but, knowing that you’ll be on a higher floor means a much better view and I really enjoyed having the Vantage Lounge to grab a bite throughout the day and also to enjoy a cocktail while chatting with new friends.
