They say it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

My plan to target Lake Trout on a new lake was totally ruined after realizing when I got there that there was no public access available to the lake.

I wasn't about to let my effort go to waste though, so I went on a little adventure to a different lake I had never been to or heard of. At the end of the day I had walked an 8.9km round trip pulling my sled to catch Lake Trout.

Were they big? No.

Was it worth it? Hell yea it was!
