I cannot believe it, this has been a lifelong dream for me and I finally have done it, this was hard, really really hard, it's such a long attempt and there's so much stuff to die to really easily all throughout. Each death is really demotivating it's a huge hit in the gut and I'm not all that good at these long deathless challenges.

Impossible Mode means you must beat the entire game without any saves, this means 0 mistakes for the entire 3540 minute run, which is brutal.

In this run I tried to avoid as many glitches/bugs/cheese I could to make it as purist of a run as possible which did also make it slightly harder, but no death glitch on the Vic Viper and no autofire, no skipping dracula's wine glass, no clipping through the wall on the elevator room. Many things like that. The hardest part of this run is definitely the entire Castlevania area, the medusa heads are hard to deal with on the original engine and Dracula is the hardest boss to consistently beat, which is why I did that route first to get it out of the way. I'm very lucky that I did not die to the guy castle thought, it very easily could have happened multiple times and made me spend way longer on this.

It's really satisfying to me to know that I did this finally 9 years after I first beat IWBTG, something my young self thought was quite literally impossible.

My next task will be to do the same thing, but now on the remaster, this should be easier a bit but it will still be difficult.
