In 2018, I asked you all for recommendations on which Classic Doctor Who episodes to watch, but years went by, and I still hadn't ventured into the classics. But guess what? 2023 marks the 60th year of Doctor Who, and I decided it was time to dive in headfirst!

In this video, I revisit my 2018 video, where I asked for episode recommendations, and I'm embarking on a journey to explore Classic Doctor Who with the help of your suggestions. Each Doctor gets their moment as I watch episodes from each era, and trust me, it's a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Will I want to continue watching Classic Doctor Who after this journey? The BBC planned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who with the creation of an online archive of over 800 episodes. The network has now confirmed a new series, Tales of the TARDIS, that will launch alongside the new website.

The new spinoff was announced by the BBC, along with the website’s new official name, The Whoniverse. Beginning on November 1, the Whoniverse will be the official name, and dedicated home, for all the Doctor Who series and spinoffs on BBC iplayer. This includes Tales of the TARDIS, which is described as “the first original Whoniverse series.” This suggests more new series may be in the works.
