इडली प्रिमिक्स बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• ३ कप तांदूळ
• १ कप उडीद डाळ
• १ कप पोहे
• १ चमचा मेथ्या
• २ कप इडली प्रिमिक्स

Idly premix can be a savoir for you. Generally for making idly one needs planning. Soaking dal, rice then grinding and finally fermentation. But if idly premix is ready you can make idly whenever you want. The idlies made from this premix turn out nice, spongy, light and fluffy. This is a very easy and simple recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 3 cups Rice
• 1 cup Urad dal
• 1 cup Poha / Flattened rice
• 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
• 2 cups Idly premix
• 1/2 cup Curd
• 2 cup Water
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
• 1~2 tsp Water

Method:
• In a pan take rice, urad dal, pohe and roast everything together on medium heat for about 67
minutes.
• Turn off the gas and add fenugreek seeds.
• Mix well and let everything cool down a little.
• Transfer the mixture into a blender jar and blend into coarse powder. It should be like fine
rava.
• Transfer the mixture into a bowl and premix is ready.
• When premix cools down completely you can store it in an airtight container for about 34
months.
• For making idly take premix in a bowl and add curd, water, salt.
• Mix everything well together and rest the batter for about 30 minutes.
• Add Eno fruit salt, water and mix in quickly.
• Grease the idly mold well with oil and pour the batter in it.
• Steam the idlies on medium heat for about 1520 minutes.
• Let the idlies be in the cooker for another 10 minutes.
• Take the idly stand out and wait for about 23 minutes.
• Take the idlies out with the help of knife or spoon.
• Serve idlies with sambar and chutney.
Note
• If you don’t want to make instant idly then you can ferment the batter for about 1516 hours
and then make idlies.
