We braved the scorching heat to shoot a great H2O Fowl Farms IDPA BUG match. My normal BUG pistol had to be send back to Ruger for repairs, so I brought out my Springfield Hellcat which is not configured for IDPA competition at all. Because of the compensator and extra long magazines I put myself in the NFC Division (Not For Competition) and do not have a score to share as there isn't a division to judge it by fairly. I downloaded the 15 round OEM mags to 6 rounds to keep the spirit of BUG at least. Overall, it was a good practice session as I need to be getting more time on this "new to me" pistol.
