God is moving on my heart to share this with those who are feeling distant from Him and don’t understand what’s going on. If you are feeling like God is far from you right now, this message is for you ❤‍ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and I hope this prophetic word, rooted in scripture and love, will help you in your walk with God our Father. I am praying for every heart to become undeniably aware of His sweet presence with you right now through the Holy Spirit.

When we feel distant from God it is essential to remember this TRUTH, that God promised to never leave us or forsake us, and because God CANNOT LIE, when we are asking "why do I feel distant from God," it is never because He "left us," but always because our hearts are hiding from Him. In Genesis Adam and Eve hid from God after eating from the tree of knowledge of good an evil. God did not hide from them, they hid from God. God came after them asking, "where are you?" and "who told you that you were naked?" Today the way BACK into the garden of Eden is JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is the tree of life. When we eat of the tree of life, accepting the forgiveness of God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ His Son, we are forsaking the tree of knowledge of good and evil, our own RATIONAL as to why we should or shouldn't be justified before God or be allowed into God's presence, and we are saying, "I could never justify myself or earn the right to have God's love and presence in my life, but I accept restoration with God and the ETERNAL LIFE of God as a gift of His grace through Jesus Christ."

We can feel estranged from God for so many reasons, not just because of our own sin or mistakes that we make even after being born again, but because of disappointments and unmet expectations. Remember how John the baptist was the first one to declare that Jesus was the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, but later when he was in prison he sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He really was the One who was sent to save them or if there was another. When we experience disappointment or hardship that we thought God would spare us or deliver us from we can get into doubt about who Jesus is and so feel distant from God and hopeless again. The fact is that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, and that even in our disappointments and disillusionment, our unmet expectations and hurts, God's presence never leaves, like David said "if I ascend to the heavens You are there, if descend to sheol, you are there." Our hearts become hard and darkened to God's presence when we stop believing that He is who He said He is, but that doesn't mean He isn't there, and the way BACK into experiencing His presence is to let go of our failures or disappointments and to cleave to Jesus again because HE HAS THE WORDS OF LIFE.

During a ten day fast with the local church the Lord gave me a prophetic dream where I was walking with an ex girlfriend who was in a spotless white dress getting married to someone else. I lay her down, she said, "you need to let me sleep," and I said, "I know I will," and walked away knowing that I would never see her again, almost as though she were dying there. I walked around the corner and secured a baby gate and then woke up from the dream from God.

I inquired of the Lord about the dream and understood this to be the interpretation:
She represented by past, my shortcomings, my rebellion, my failures, my disappointments, my unmet expectations, and the pain that surrounded those things. She was in a white wedding dress because "my past" and all that was attached to it was washed white by the blood of Jesus, it was married to Jesus on the cross. I lay her down and had to "let her sleep" I had to let my passed be dead and crucified with Christ. I had to let my hurts and disappointments, my failures and past sins be dead, let them sleep. I then had to secure the baby gate and make sure that the innocent born again baby couldn't get back in there to play with the past which was now dead and gone.

This is what we MUST do in our walk with Jesus. We have to let go of our past sins, our past failures, our disappointments and all that estranged us from God or made us FEEL distant and far away from God, and be MARRIED TO ANOTHER, that is JESUS CHRIST, who is alive forever and is HIMSELF the eternal life. All the past is dead, but Christ Jesus is from everlasting to everlasting, and HIS MERCY endures forever.
