Back when Rizlona and Aradune launched these two servers were going to be "PoPLocked" mid90s dance craze jokes aside, this would have been a mistake in my opinion but they obviously had data to back up the decision. (I originally incorrectly said thornblade and mischief were going to be pop locked, this is incorrect)

Now, Darkpaw did backtrack on this and remove the terminal expansion lock on these servers before launch but these are the reasons I think you personally, should also consider not locking yourself out of content beyond planes of power.

Everquest, contrary to popular belief, did not end with Luclin. In fact, it didn't even end with Planes of Power. Everquest continued on to many exciting, lore, and featurerich expansions well beyond the terminal point for many past Everquest players (including myself, once upon a time.)

With Planes of Power around the corner on Thornblade and Mischief, it's as good a time as any to talk about why you should keep going if you're enjoying yourself.
