How to replace the ignition coil on a Honda GX engine.
If your engine is not producing a spark, then it is likely that the ignition coil has gone bad, although there are other issues that can cause no spark, such as a grounded primary wire (bad kill switch or damaged wire).

The air gap setting on this engine is 0.4 +/ 0.2mm (0.016 +/ 0.008in). I show how to se the air gap using a standard piece of printer paper.
It's recommended to double check the air gap using a feeler gauge.
