Welcome back, it's been a minute! Last we talked, I was doing well because of a medication. Well, not anymore! But on the bright side, you can finally see my CSF leak on camera! Or at least, what we suspect is a CSF leak, secondary to my high cranial pressure.

I have a condition called idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), or pseudotumor cerebri, which means I have high cranial pressure. I was able to manage my cranial pressure with diamox, so without diamox. I had to discontinue diamox due to side effects. Now, my pressure is high again, so my nasal CSF leak is back (again, all technically conjecture until we are able to test a sample of the nasal fluid drainage).

As far as POTS goes, it's still dramatically improved. I'm managing symptoms of POTS without salt loading! I'm on supplements and lifestyle changes to manage my POTS, no prescriptions. POTS no longer controls my life thanks to Dr. Driscoll at the POTS Care Clinic.
