Join me in my first experience using epoxy resin. I decided to start simple with an IKEA tray table which I picked up in the clearance section, I thought it might be quite a good project for decoupage using my own papers “The House of Mendes”range in collaboration with Posh Phalk Interiors, The table themed absolutely perfect for decoupage it’s made it a no paint project for me but there’s still lots to learn and I’m sure after my first experience I will use resin again maybe even over one of my paint techniques like faux marble with Chalk Paint I think this could be a great combination and many more possibilities…
I have to say for my first attempt I think this turned out pretty okay I still think there’s many more things for me to learn but I hope that this tutorial will encourage all of my subscribers to give it a go on my very own project honestly I thought this would be daunting but once I get over the initial worry that I wouldn’t do it well I really enjoyed myself so I suppose my advice is knowledge is key, takeaway whatever you’ve learnt from this tutorial find others and just go.
