I love coloring hair at home on a budget, so today I'm trying Manic Panic Shocking Blue on unbleached brown hair! It's also a trial with color correction since the bottom half of my hair has some growing out highlights with residual rose gold color from oVertone hot pink... You'll see dyeing hair blue without bleach can actually come out great! Just be really careful because as you'll see, I'm a smurf. The blue came off on EVERYTHING until after the first shampoo. It was on my hands, my keyboard, my pillow ick!! It washed out quickly, too, about 50% with each wash so by 3 washes it was almost back to regular color! You could maintain it longer with a color conditioner such Keracolor (links below).
