It's been over 2,500 days since I've flown alone in an airplane. That's getting to be a long time, but let's face it, I didn't really have a choice for medical reasons. After losing my medical clearance twice in a row, I finally managed to regain the right to fly alone in an ultralight.

And what better place than the Arcachon basin to rediscover the pleasures of flying solo? Well, not quite solo. Because you always want to share. So I thought the best thing of all was to join JeanMichel on a patrol flight and take you up in class.
