Joining us on this week's 1'm LIVE is the electronic pop band We Are The Night! Previously known as Rocket Diary, the team is made of vocalist Ham Byeongsun, keyboardist Philip Ham, bassist Hwang Seongsoo, guitarist Jeong Wonjoong, and drummer Kim Boram. With their signature drowsy, dreamy electronic sounds, the band has taken part in numerous top festivals at home and abroad, including the Liverpool Sound City in the U.K.

As the band name implies, We Are The Night presents music for and about the night. From struggles about the uncertain future to the thrill of being in love, among others, they depict all kinds of feeling youngsters feel throughout their turbulent period time of life.

위아더나잇은 함병선(보컬), 함필립(건반), 황성수(베이스), 정원중(기타), 김보람(드럼) 다섯 명으로 구성된 밴드다. 2005년 첫 앨범을 발표한 밴드 로켓 다이어리를 전신으로 하는 이 팀은 긴 시간 쌓아온 음악성으로 인디 음악을 좋아하는 사람들에게 입소문을 타고 있다. 또한 크고 작은 공연을 비롯해 영국 리버풀 사운드 시티를 포함한 국내외 각종 페스티벌 무대에 오르며 공연형 뮤지션으로서의 매력을 발산하는 팀이기도 하다.

위아더나잇은 팀명이 주는 이미지 그대로 밤에 떠올릴 수 있는 생각들을 노래한다. 혼란스러운 청춘, 상대와의 교감, 사랑에 빠진 순간의 설렘 등 청춘이 느낄 수 있는 수많은 생각들이 감성적인 멜로디 위에 얹혀 위아더나잇 다운 음악을 완성한다. 특히 위아더나잇의 노래에 담긴 가사는 때론 따뜻한 위로를, 때론 똑같은 고민을 화두로 던지며 마치 내 이야기를 주제로 한듯한 공감대를 선물하기도 한다.

위아더나잇의 [I'm Live] 공연은 이들의 음악성을 가장 잘 나타내는 '유아인', '깊은 우리 젊은 날', '있잖아' 등을 비롯해 도심 속 작은 휴가를 선물하는 '할리데이', 그리고 위아더나잇의 또 다른 매력을 엿볼 수 있는 발랄한 노래 '티라미수 케익'까지 다양한 곡들로 진행됐다.
