I'm on the threshold... So let's make a door! Stitch with me while I share my news. I am at a really significant moment in my life and I want to share some news with you while we make the first part of our May panel.

Today we are going to use simple quilting techniques to make a doorway to a secret garden. You'll need an offcut of quilt batting and a couple of pieces of fabric for your door , and simple needle and thread.

Think about what your doorway needs to look like to reflect your 'threshold' moment. You might also want to think about what your door is going to open up to. What do you hope the next few months will hold and what scene might represent that in your work?
