Sony PlayStation is undergoing a strategic shift towards multiplayer live service games by collaborating with its firstparty studios and making substantial investments in secondparty deals to create serviceoriented games. While the company will continue to release singleplayer games, it can be somewhat disheartening to witness 60% of PlayStation's offerings transitioning to the service domain. Furthermore, it's important to note that this transformation is merely the initial stage of a much larger undertaking.

As a business move, it makes sense, but I personally find it very unappealing. Mourn with me.
