EOS/ESD Association, Inc. was formed in 1982 but founded in 1979 starting with the first EOS/ESD Symposium in Denver, CO. We are a professional voluntary association dedicated to advancing the understanding of the theory and practice of electrostatic discharge avoidance. Our focus is creating and promoting ESD standards, education programs, like tutorials, online training and symposia, and certification. We are accredited by the American National Standards Institute and are also the United States representative through the US national committee to the electrostatics committee of the International electrostatics commission or IEC, called TC101.
