అనంతపురం జిల్లాలో ప్రస్తుతం 59 వేల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ఇసుక అందుబాటులో ఉందని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ వినోద్ కుమార్ చెప్పారు. జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా ఐదు చోట్ల కొత్తగా రీచ్‌లు గుర్తించామని, వీటిలో తవ్వకాలకు ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి అనుమతి రావాల్సి ఉందని వివరించారు. ఉచిత ఇసుక విధానంలో ఎలాంటి అక్రమాలకు చోటులేకుండా ముందుకు సాగుతామంటున్నారు జిల్లా కలెక్టర్.
