Halifax is no strange to seeing military aircraft from around the world but this is crazy! Here we have military action from Canada, USA, Italy and U.K but also some interesting interprovincial government aircraft like the Newfoundland CL215T, Nova Scotia EHS B200 and Ocean and Fisheries Canada Dash 8!
It was very cool to see all these traffics despite the weather not cooperating at all...

Throughout the month of June, the U.S Air Force was conducting aerial refuelling exercises over the Gulf of the St. Lawrence; as a result up to 6 of these KC135R's were based in Halifax.

There were 2 Newfoundland CL215T operating out of Halifax to help fight the raging forest fires in Nova Scotia.
The Canadian CP140 was doing touch n go's in various maritime cities for training purposes. The Italian and Royal Air Forces use Halifax as a technical (+fuel) stop when flying from Europe to the Americas.
