Understanding 16th note patterns is a key element in reggae bass playing. In this video I demonstrate 3 rhythmic patterns that are used regularly by reggae bass players. There are a lot more than 3 but get these 3 into your DNA and you will be on your way to sounding authentic on your bass. Once you have them memorised feel free to experiment by mixing the rhythms.
