While Sangita and I were in Sri Lanka it rained quite a lot in Buddha Garden so there were a lot of weeds and grass growing. This week we have been clearing all that up starting with grass cutting and getting some worker help with the weeding. At the moment we have no volunteers and Rajan and can’t manage to do it on our own. With all the grass cut in the vegetable gardens and the beds weed free, next job will be to plant all the seedlings we have growing ready. We also cut down bushes and leaves, disturbing a large number of stinging bees on a palmyra tree as we did so. We kept out of their way and they didn’t feel to come and sting us, thank goodness.
