In this video, I will be discussing Richard Brooks’ 1967 film adaptation of Truman Capote’s nonfiction novel, In Cold Blood. I will be focusing on how the film uses this true story as social and political commentary, through the protagonist of Perry Smith, who murdered a family of four in 1959.
