◆Many memorial comments that could not be recorded in the video.
All of us at the club are deeply saddened by the passing of Salvatore Schillaci. I sincerely pray for your soul to rest in peace.
Mr Schillaci was with the club from 1994 to 1997. As the top scorer at the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy, he produced many goals with his high technique and instinctive play, and had a great influence not only on Jubilo but also on Japanese strikers. Nicknamed 'Toto' by players and fans alike, he remains deeply engraved in the club's history as a Jubilo legend.
After retiring from active football in 1999, he ran a soccer school in his hometown of Palermo, and was also active as a talent and commentator. He was also active in philanthropic activities and made great contributions to the world of soccer. His warm personality and passion are still admired by many people.
We have been praying for his recovery as he has been feeling unwell lately, but we are very sorry for the outcome. Although we will no longer be able to meet again, the legacy Mr. Schillaci left at Jubilo will continue to live in our hearts.

I'm just surprised at how quickly and suddenly we parted ways.
Being able to play alongside the World Cup's top scorer at Jubilo is a treasure for me as a soccer player.
He was a great striker. I learned a lot from his play.
I pray that your soul may rest in peace.
