In the depths of my heart lies a void, so vast,
My soul mate, best friend, lost to demons' strife,
Battles fought silently, their weight unsurpassed,
Leaving memories as remnants of a cherished past.

Laughter once shared, bright moments in our stride,
Our spirits entwined, a flame that burned so bright,
Through highs and lows, we faced the world's tide,
Now I'm left alone, engulfed in sorrow's blight.

The demons whispered, their cruelty unbound,
They claimed your spirit, a tragedy untold,
Now I wander lost, with no solace found,
In a realm of darkness where hope feels cold.

Yet your presence lingers, a spirit's eternal flame,
In echoes of laughter, memories we've made,
Within my soul, your love remains the same,
Guiding me forward, though our paths have frayed.

This struggle shapes me, gives strength to endure,
Embracing the joy and the ache we once knew,
For you, my soul mate, forever pure,
I'll carry your essence, honouring our bond, forever true.
