In perimenopause, progesterone is the first hormone to fall. It’s our calming, antianxiety hormone and so our late 30s, early 40s and beyond can be a time of great hormonal flux. But thankfully, food is medicine and we have some nutrients which we can use to help boost progesterone levels naturally.
