Indefensible Disney: The Incomplete and Scaled-Back Avengers Campus

A lot of people have a lot of opinions about The Walt Disney Company. But there's this weird contingency that, for whatever reason, go out of their way to voraciously defend some of the company's most anticonsumer policies. Most of them are on the Disneyland Reddit. Maybe it's an age thing.

In any case, there are a lot of things happening in their theme parks that really can't be defended. Exhibit 1: Avengers Campus.

You COULD argue that the land wasn't so bad when it opened. But you really can't argue that not opening the area's signature attraction three years later and eliminating and cutting back on the performers who roam the place is in any way, shape, or form, for the benefit of the guests.

We're not mad, Disney. We're just disappointed. The company is definitely at a crossroads are we going to be wowed at D23? Or is this the beginning of a truly unprecedented fall from grace?
