In this video, I lead a technical interview with the founder and lead designer of the ShocBoard Systems line of products. David, from ShocBoard Systems, brings us an awesome new innovation to the electric skateboarding accessories scene, and I'm excited for the future of this product!

The ShocBoard Systems company has two products they are bringing forward, the ShocBox, and the TrickStick. Both of these systems are Patent Pending and trademarked, so unsurprisingly, they are a brand new development worth being protected.

The ShocBox is a fully independent electric skateboard suspension system that uses a torsion spring and offset axle to provide 40mm of travel to each corner of your board. This ShocBox system at time of recording is designed to fit onto DKP trucks from Evolve and Hadean, but more trucks are planned to be supported in the future, theoretically, as long as the pivot cup geometry is similar to the Meepo / Evolve ones, you should be able to use them with any DKP truck.

The TrickStick is a longboard accessory that brings you both a forward and rear "handle" or grip of sorts that you can use as a pseudobinding, or a half binding, as well as for dragging the board or, I suppose, doing tricks. This TrickStick has locking positions around its axis of rotation, and can be adjusted for Regular or Goofy riders in binding mode, and for a number of angles in handle mode.
