Annual heavy monsoon rains flooded parts of northern India on Sunday, causing landslides that blocked roads.

"The situation is very bad. It has been raining heavily for the past 1214 hours in Kullu and Mandi districts," said local resident Raghav Chauhan.

"[The] condition is very bad. I took a customer to GurgramKapashera border and my auto got fully submerged in water over there," said rickshaw driver Mohammed Tasleem.
